Realme confirmed the launch date of the expected Realme GT6 model: June 20.
This week, Realme VP and Realme Global Marketing Head Chase Xu released a video clip regarding the debut of Realme GT6.
The post reveals the return of the GT series to the global market. The clip does not directly state that it will be the GT6 that will be introduced soon, but different clues in the post and video point to the model.
The launch date was also not directly revealed in the post, but on the 19th anniversary of the clip, Xu is seen reading a newspaper with a picture of a GT phone and the date “June 20” on it.
Moreover, the visual comes with the slogan “Power meets artificial intelligence”, which we have seen in previous promotions of the brand.
This AI teaser complements an earlier leak of the model’s retail box, which suggests it will be marketed as an AI phone.
The back of the box mentions the specific AI features of the phone: AI Night Vision, AI Smart Lift, AI Smart Loop, and AI Smart Search.
It is unknown whether the GT6 will also feature generative AI, but this should not be surprising as it was previously reported that Oppo and OnePlus will soon receive Google’s Gemini Ultra 1.0.
Apart from AI features, Realme GT6 is also expected to offer Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chip, 16GB RAM (other options will be announced soon).
5500mAh battery capacity, SuperVOOC charging technology, 5G and NFC support and Realme UI 5.0.
